How to choose your integrable marking machine?

As in integrator, selecting an identification machine starts with your customer’s production line specifications and part marking requirements. Each technology has its strengths, and choosing the right one will depend on several factors, such as:

  • marking/identification specifications: size, depth, contrast, content;
  • production process and part itself;
  • integration constraints;
  • material, hardness, and surface;
  • work environment (dust, temperature, humidity);
  • part sensitivity;
  • post-treatment of the part;
  • part usage and environment;
  • budget;
  • client’s technology preference.

Dust and particle extractor

Running an exhaust system with an integrated laser marker is highly recommended for several reasons.

It reduces the accumulated amount of dust and particles in the marking area and prevents the marking from being altered over time. Dust buildup on the laser lens is also minimised, avoiding marking deterioration and even potential lens breakage.

An exhaust system also protects laser operators from inhaling toxic fumes and particles, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.
