Our global footprintAs in integrator, selecting an identification machine starts with your customer’s production line specifications and part marking requirements. Each technology has its strengths, and choosing the right one will depend on several factors, such as:
Here are our main industrial marking technologies for integrators:
| Technology |
Laser |
Dot peen |
Scribing |
| Marking process | Lasers alter the materials surface to create contrast or ablations and reveal a marking | The machine stylus hits the surface and creates a small inverted dome in quick succession | The machine stylus contacts part and scratches the surface, leaving a deep uniform groove on the part |
| Advantages | Contrasted and quick marking | Fast and deep marking | Very legible deep marking |
| Limits | Material might not react to laser source, extra safety precautions | Lack of contrast | Part needs to be held firmly |

The Mini-inline is a compact, class-1 safety concept that encloses the laser beam down to the part’s surface, eliminating the need for a bulky enclosure. Its design simplifies the installation of an integrated laser marker.
It integrates safety sensors (inductive/optic, presence sensor, safety relay), is DGUV-certified, and features double-wall extraction right next to the marking area to remove fumes and dust.
Designed to fit directly into high-speed lines, including robot arms, it reduces cycle-time and installation costs. The Mini-inline has a standard industrial marking window of 32 × 42 mm (1.26 x 1.65'') and is compatible with Fibre, MOPA, Hybrid and Green integrable laser marking systems.

The eZ Laser is a motorised Z-axis that moves the laser head up and down to maintain the correct focal distance on parts with varying heights.
It is compatible with all Gravotech integrable laser markers and is purpose-built for programmable height adjustment during automated sequences with its 295 mm (11.61'') stroke.
This accessory also features a 7" touchscreen with the following functions:
The eZ Laser simplifies mechanical design and commissioning on automated cells.

Rotary device for laser marking of round and circular parts.
The part rotation system facilitates the marking of cylindrical parts by turning them during marking cycles. This allows you to easily mark your revolving parts on their generator or on their circumference.
Available in three versions, it can be used to mark all your circular parts, including large ones:
| Part clamping | Interior | Exterior | Max. weight |
| RD1 | Ø 18 mm (0.709'') - 98 mm (3.858'') | Ø 3 mm (0.118'') - 76 mm (2.992'') | 25 kg (55.116 lbs) |
| RD2 | Ø 30 mm (1.181'') - 152 mm (5.984'') | Ø 3 mm (0.118'') - 125 mm (4.921'') | 25 kg (55.116 lbs) |
| RDM | Ø 30 mm (1.181'') - 129 mm (5.079'') | Ø 4 mm (0.157'') - 118 mm (4.646'') | 1 kg (2.205 lbs) |
Running an exhaust system with an integrated laser marker is highly recommended for several reasons.
It reduces the accumulated amount of dust and particles in the marking area and prevents the marking from being altered over time. Dust buildup on the laser lens is also minimised, avoiding marking deterioration and even potential lens breakage.
An exhaust system also protects laser operators from inhaling toxic fumes and particles, maintaining a safe and healthy working environment.

The eZ150 is an electrical linear Z-axis with 150 mm (5.906'') stroke that can be mounted horizontally or vertically, allowing compatible dot peen marking machines to approach the marking area, identify the part, and then disengage for part removal.
This accessory can also be used to mark parts of different heights, or a single part multiple times, at various height levels.
The eZ150 offers multiple fixing points, dust protection, and built-in limit switches, and connects directly to the XCOM controller, enabling users to program movement without writing PLC code.

Compatible with dot-peen and scribing marking machines, our rotary device allows precise marking on cylindrical parts by rotating the part in sync with the stylus movement. This ensures consistent depth and alignment across the entire surface: whether marking around the diameter or along the axis.
Designed for seamless integration and reliable performance, this accessory is essential for marking shafts, pipes, flanges, and other round components within automated or manual setups.
Available in three configurations to suit a wide range of part sizes and marking requirements:
| Part clamping | Interior | Exterior | Max. weight |
| RD1 | Ø 18 mm (0.709'') - 98 mm (3.858'') | Ø 3 mm (0.118'') - 76 mm (2.992'') | 25 kg (55.116 lbs) |
| RD2 | Ø 30 mm (1.181'') - 152 mm (5.984'') | Ø 3 mm (0.118'') - 125 mm (4.921'') | 25 kg (55.116 lbs) |
