GREEN laser marker is designed for complex and cold markings on materials not reactive to other wavelengths. In addition, the GREEN laser has a small spot diameter that offers unsurpassed micro marking quality and accuracy on a wide range of materials.
  • Cold laser permanent marking
Cold laser marking refers to marking and treatment carried out with minimal thermal stress. Laser beam concentration allows direct marking without generating heat into parts, avoiding any burning or deformation. This permanent marking doesn’t alter the material and is an ideal solution for identification marking on soft materials and sensitive components.

  • Ultra-high-definition micro marking
Gravotech has developed green laser heads that guarantee small and fine markings. It offers an extremely thin spot size of 20 μm for micro markings with exceptional resolution while limiting thermal stress on the material. Small 2D Datamatrix, detailed logo, precise removal of thin layers of coating: the GREEN high speed laser series can meet all your identification marking challenges.

  • Mark the impossible with the Green laser
Its versatility is almost unrivalled. This range uses a 532 nm wavelength to mark materials that would not normally react to infrared wavelengths: from rough to the most transparent plastics, reflective metals (copper, silver, gold), ceramic, cardboard, wood.

circuit board components identification permanent marking

All electrical devices are using plastic with specific properties:

  • Insulating properties to not conduct electricity.
  • Fire resistant through the use of special flame retardant additives.
  • Can withstand high temperature.

These technical plastics with additives do not react to standard IR laser (1064 nm). Our Green laser marker works perfectly and offers a contrasted direct marking to replace inkjet and label solutions. You can use it for the CE & normative marking, technical specifications, pins & terminal references, etc. This high speed laser marker saves you time and money as it requires no consumables as well as being a high productivity and eco-friendly solution.

laser engraved charms

The Green laser marker reacts perfectly with precious metals such as gold & silver but also on other highly reflective materials such as copper, stainless steel, brass.

The very high absorption rate of 5320 nm wavelength gives a contrasted marking resistant to corrosion.

The risk of blackening and smearing is reduced by the low heat delivered by the high speed laser beam. You have no waste of materials as the laser micro marking is very thin and localised.

It is also perfect to mark on thin metal sheets, there is no deformation due to heat with the laser. Market Examples: Job shop & Jewellery, traceability of precious metals such as gold and silver, traceability of medical devices.

Embedded software on laser marker

Totally autonomous, our Green laser marker works without a PC and automatically generates the data to be identified (multiple format timestamps, variables, counters, offset codes) directly on your part.

Its onboard electronics make this identification marking laser an ultra-communicative solution with your environment, thus centralising all the information from your PLCs and database in real-time and increasing your productivity by saving time.

Lasertrace : our marking and identification software

Lasertrace is the software dedicated to the creation of marking files and to the piloting of our marking lasers. Its simple and intuitive interface allows easy composition of your marking files, text, logo, 2D code...

You can define your laser direct marking sequence according to precise rules: the actions (marking blocks) to be carried out, the execution procedure and the possibility of setting up a wide choice of transitions (output activations, camera blocks, variables, etc.).

Vision manager - marking control

The vision manager package helps you read codes and texts during and after the permanent marking process, to ensure that the marking has been done properly and keep a 100% traceability of your products.

  • Efficiency and performance: reading camera with lighting, auto-focus system and protective lens.
  • Easy to use: You are just a few clicks away from complete control of 1D/2D codes and your text (OCR fonts).
  • Gradation of the marking: Quality control of the readability of the codes (Grade).
  • Quality checking: sending status information and history to the PLC, activation of alarms, activation of the system to reject the faulty part.
Mini inline - permanent and deep laser engraving

Mini-inline - Innovative Solutions For Permanent Marking

Gravotech has designed a turnkey marking solution that will fit perfectly on your production lines.

Mini-inline is a Class 1 nozzle to secure the marking process without designing a costly Class 1 enclosure.

Designed for Marking of large industrial parts: This Class 1 solution is fully customizable to fit your parts perfectly. Recommended for large parts and flat surfaces, Engine crankcase, Gearbox housing, Stamped body parts, Fuel tanks, Long parts.

Highest level of safety: the Mini-inline package includes safety sensors (inductive or optical) for part detection. They are linked to the protective shutter and laser source.

The Mini-inline insures we extract all fumes generated by the laser, thus protecting the operators from the fumes and particulates generated by the laser marking.

Flexible and reliable, the Mini-inline can be integrated in all positions and is compatible with robots arms or linear actuators.

A unique and proven design that has been used for years across more than 100 manufacturing sites.
